Meet the Team

Even as a child, Sam was building and creating. His siblings recall him taking apart toy cars and rebuilding them and making elaborate costumes. Gaining experience in a carpentry shop as a young adult, he eventually started his own furniture business. This ultimately led to him exploring the manufacturing of garage doors and the birth of Craft Doors USA in 2014. Sam is drawn to the natural beauty and symmetry of raw wood and his gorgeous door designs, created by the visions of his clients, mirror the beauty he sees throughout God's breathtaking creation. Sam’s discipline and ingenuity have been some of the key factors to his success. Ultimately, he acknowledges God’s goodness in establishing and growing the business. Sam's passions include rooting for the Miami Dolphins and Heat and traveling with his wife and three spirited girls. Sam has a heart for helping people and he sees his business as one of the ways that he can show God's love to others. He is enthusiastically supported by his wife Clara, who shares his enjoyment of making art, trying unique foods, pursing health, and being involved in their church.

Rebekah, the sister of the founder Sam, joined the team in 2020. Not only does she bring years of sales and management experience, Craft Doors is blessed to have her as their own in-house interior designer. Rebekah excels at assisting clients with finding the perfect design and finish for their doors. In her spare time, she loves going on adventures with her spunky Sheltie, Dakota, and fun loving husband, Jeff, and trying out tasty finds in her home state of NC.

Diamond, Sam's younger brother, has been part of the team since the very beginning. What started out as two brothers building bookshelves in a 400 sq foot garage turned into a two location Franchise where he continues to work with Sam! Defined by his excellent work ethic, he is now the NC shop lead for overhead doors.
